What I do
Most of my work starts with a requirement. A buyer abroad needs a product to a specification, or a producer here wants a buyer for its output. I find the other side, verify it, and introduce the two once terms are agreed.
- Finding the other side
- Producers and exporters whose specification, volume and export record fit the requirement, and buyers whose demand fits what a producer makes.
- Verifying it
- Every counterparty is verified against national government databases and international sanctions lists before first contact, then checked again as documents arrive and before anything is signed. Each check is recorded, and a company moves forward only when its records agree across every source.
20+checks before any agreement3stages, from first contact to signing
- Staying with it
- After the introduction I follow the trade through samples, inspection, documents and shipment, and I remain the person either side can call.
How a deal runs
You tell me what you need, or what you supply.
Product, specification, volume, delivery terms and timing. I put the brief in writing and confirm it with you before I approach anyone.
I find the right counterpart and verify it.
I shortlist producers or buyers that fit the brief and screen each one before any contact. Only companies whose records hold up go forward, and you hear about anything that does not add up.
Terms are agreed before anyone is introduced.
Both sides sign a short agreement covering confidentiality and my role, in English and, for Indonesian parties, Bahasa Indonesia, under English law with arbitration in Singapore.
The parties meet and deal directly.
Proof of product comes before the first payment: samples, a certificate of analysis and independent inspection, so both sides know exactly what is being traded.
I stay with the trade to the ship, and after.
I help coordinate documents and inspection through to shipment, and remain on hand for the orders that follow. I am paid only when trades complete, so my interest is in trades that repeat.
What I won't do
- Ask you for money up front. No fees for verification, inspection, documents or introductions. If anyone asks you for a fee in my name, it isn't me.
- Share your details without your consent.Your company and contact details go to the other side only with your agreement, once terms are in place for both parties.
- Let an order be paid before the product is proven.Samples, a certificate of analysis and independent inspection come first.
About
I'm an independent commodity broker living and working in Indonesia. Abesadze Global is the name I work under; I contract personally, as an individual.
I keep a written record of every counterparty, document and conversation, so either side can ask where a trade stands and get a straight answer the same day.
